  | Boys Varsity Coach/ Summer Head Coach: Michelle Lutz Lutz began playing water polo at age 14, sophomore year starting at the Varsity level. After graduating Claremont High School in 2006 Lutz attended CSU Monterey Bay on athletic scholarship, but returned back to sunny Southern California to play water polo for Mt. San Antonio College. Here she received First Team All South Coast Conference, First Team All Southern California, and All-American. In High School she received 1st- Team Baseline League for 2 years & All-CIF. She now dedicates her time to school at Azusa Pacific University majoring in Physical Education, minoring in Sports Coaching; and of course she is coaching Glendora's Varsity Girls & Boys Water Polo. In the 2010-2011 school year, just three years after the the beginning of the program, Boys and Girls water polo both made CIF for the first time in the same school year. Let's Go Tartans!! |
Girls Head Summer Coach: Cindy Melendez Cindy Melendez played water polo for Rowland High School. Continued on to play at Mt. SAC for two years and transferring to Cal State East Bay where she finished up her water polo career and was NCAA Division III National Champion. She has coached Mt. SAC since 2008, has just begun coaching at Azusa Pacific University and now at Glendora High School. She plans to further her degree and work with prosthetics. |
